Just the estimated-arrival time is keyed to the NextBus system. A
separate static system map is displayed in each bus stop. This is
presently in use on the 22-Fillmore trolley coach and many of the light
rail lines. My understanding is that the F-Market hysterical system
will not get the NextBus.

Yes -- sorry, should have specified that.

Thanks for the explanation - never checked into how it works.
Tall--Buildings might block direct access to the satellites then!

Nice to hear that, Derrick! That fad of jeans with farmer's
suspenders and backpack suggested Maoist Communists to me! That seems
to be pretty much a part of the past (I hope!)
