This isn't correct re 3001 (my source: PCC Cars of Boston by Ed Anderson).
3001 operated lastly on the Arsenal St-Western Av line between Watertown and
Central Square, Cambridge until that line was abandoned on 6-17-50, then
went into inactive storage and was finally scrapped at Everett on 2-18-53.
