Greetings to John and every one else.
Yes, the army car came after I went to Chicago.
About the bread loaf colors. They were the product of the design firm
Peter Muller Monk and every one liked them. The red, oramge or yellow
were very strong colors. The advertising came later, not part of the
original plans. As did 1776, the tour trolley, the Castle Shannon green
and other mixed colors. The Mod trolley was part of the original plan
however. It was the result of a sketch by one of the children of one
of the Peter Muller Monk staff.
The first of the LRV front end cars had the colors of Dusseldorf which were
on the first artic bus demostrator. This was sold to Equibank because
they had a red logo that just fit.
Bus1111 was sold to Channel 11 as the "ones to watch". Neither Channel
11 or Equibank had a real choice. Kip, the Winston advt man, just told
them that Harold did this for them.
It was fun. Kip and Ken Husson, the maintenance mgr made this all
possible. And of course John Mauro was a very understanding and
good leader.

The Green & White for the Parkdale Savings and Loan was done just for
them. They also had 5 or 10 buses (with a slanted white area). They had
their name on the roof. The Green & White was their colors.
