I am not the expert on this, but when I lived in Pittsburgh, I remember
remnants of the Harmony line - mostly overgrown right-of-way - that were
visible if you knew where to look, at least in the mid-1960s.
The line did not run along McKnight Road, but followed Babcock Blvd. Parts
of the graded ROW were still visible along Babcock Blvd. There was (is?) a
car wash on the north side of the intersection of Babcock Blvd. and
People's(spelling ?) Road - the ROW continued north behind the car wash.
This place was still called Keown Station in the early 60s, and if you drove
around the subdivisions to the north of the car wash, you could see other
parts of the ROW.
There were also some areas along old U.S. Rt. 19 in Ingomar, and toward
Wexford, where you could see the ROW. I remember a PERC bus trip - around
1961 - that traced the Harmony line, but I wasn't on it.
