1. When did the gray paint disappear from the trucks and underbody in Pittsburgh?
When they first got dirty?
2. You're talking to the wrong one about Boston. I'm not sure what flakes were used
in a silver metalic paint. Maybe Boston simply couldn't get the material during the
war. May also it was determined to be too reflective when we were in combat. I
hardly think that tan would have been used as a camouflage because dark gray would
probably have hidden the car on asphalt much better.
