Forgot to mention that the car  #3001 was called the "Queen Mary " and
diverted from the  Brooklyn PCC order in  1936 and was the only Boston
PCC car  witout a left hand door . This car and the other 20 cars
delivered in 1941 had silver roofs so stood out in air views of Boston
area so had their roofs painted the tan color by order of the Civil
Defense .
