When did I mention that I was an author? Can't recall ever saying that.
Don't bend my ear with explanations or eMails of when I might have said
that - I really don't have time now to reply to this - HINT HINT). I have
written a few things.
FIFTY YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE TRANSIT, hEADLIGHTS 1971 "issue" published as a
book in soft and hard cover format in 1974, a few copies still available
from me.
TTC 28, published 1968, 48 pages. Illegal (as far as I'm concerned) and
unauthorized copy still available in inferior format (they photographed the
original book rather than ask for the original negatives which I had) from
Upper Canada Railway Society. Originally nice photos, now very muddy and
garbage. If you see one on eBay always ask which edition. The unauthorized
one has a semi-gloss paper.
RAILS FROM THE JUNCTION, edited (and largely rewritten) from a manuscript
posthumously produced for the family of James V Salmon, published 1970.
Current project (actively pursued since 1977) is a database of all Toronto
streetcar history (operations and roster of all companies) from 1861 to
yesterday afternoon. Thousands of pages of data tables, no current plans to
publish (and I'm not open to offers to do so - as I said earlier I'm too
busy right now to devote three more years to putting it in publication
format, not even on disk.
