I don't now how to get this comment on topic, so I'll just say it...
Omicron was a little alien who regularly flew a flying saucer into Rege's
morning radio program. There were lots of sound effects, and at the end of
each segment Rege would give the credits and say that the, "flying saucer
was provided courtesy of Dravo Corporation."
The program was full of little subleties like that, and many of them related
to Pittsburgh companies and news events (e.g., the "Bridge Leap Competition"
after someone drove a car off the end of the uncompleted Ft. Duquesne
Bridge).
