Off-topic again, please shoot me already: a "good" home desktop with toys
can be yours under $1000. A piece of crap which suffices is in the small
hundreds range. I build servers from my "garbage pile" and one hosts this
mailing list; A 10 year old Sun workstation hosts the
trolley.dementia.org web server.
