Actually   cars 3197-3221  were done  later when MTA realized they did
not have enough PCCs to increase service on the Riverside as they found
themselves with crush loads and long headways . So they ran them thru
the shop to MU them and pulled the like number of PCCs off the
Arborway-Huntington line and sent them to Riverside .  The year they did
this escapes me but it was in the middle sixties .  Three car trains was
the result on the Riverside line and service cutbacks to Reservoir Sta.
became history as the ridership was beyond that area.
