 I never remember a car "speeding."  Even broadside, I have views of PCCs out
there that were frozen at 1/100th of a second., head on 1/50th worked fine.
The track wasn't good enough to high speed operation, curves were too sharp.
Remember that the normal operating speed of a PCC was only about 25 mph ... a
lot slower going up hills. (It took the better part of a mile on level track to
get up to the published balancing speed of 42 mph.)   I've motored a car over
part of that line, and I guarantee you that you didn't want to speed.    fws
