Don::	May seem to be a nit-pick but tis not --- 'tis a
question for a point of clarity.

Does your 1930 map actually say 'Parkway?' Thought the
'Parkway' concept was something which started much later like a
pre-cursor to Freeways.

Would you mean Saw Mill Run Blvd? A 1940 map gives no
indication of the construction of Saw Mill Run -- everything is
very much local streets.

The portion of Saw Mill from Banksville to the northwest was
*freeway-like* when constructed.

And from Matt's description of the route, the 33-line operated
as a shuttle from McGann's Corner (precise location?) A
cutback to Woodville 'somewhere' wouldn't make much sense as Saw
Mill Run eventually ran right thru this area. Construction is
piecemeal, of course, so it could be just the first phase of
construction with necessary relocation of the trolleycar
terminal, but wouldn't a Woodville terminal also strand the
passengers? How close would the nearest connecting line be?

My 1949 map shows Saw Mill Run Blvd running from Liberty to West
End Circle with the Parkway like section west of Banksville.
It also shows the proposed Lincoln Parkway with a direct
connection to Liberty Avenue.
