Thanks for the advertising for Kevin.
After being in business for over 20 years, I spent quite a long time
recently pulling together about 4 excellent book collections as well as my
typically better priced new book selection and generating a Trolley Book
List and a Railroad Book List. I am sending this out to whatever email list
addresses I have as well as snail mail addresses. If you would like a list,
please send me your email. Also, when receiving the list (Excel file),
please forward them to any other acquaintances and their friends. I took a
few cartons of books to the Indianapolis show where they were well received.
The West Penn presentation at the Blackburn show was very good. Many of the
flat landers from the midwest came away with a good appreciation for the
line and its scenery. I was very happy to see it having been a fan for many
years, but being too young to have experienced it.
I was told on Friday that Beal's three books on Pittsburgh beyond the
McKeesport book will be published within a relatively short time span by a
very reputable publishing concern. Has anyone seen the layouts for these
books?
Regards,
