It did. Route 65 was the original route number.  July 9th, 1944 route 65
began operating single-end cars between Munhall Loop and Lincoln Place
and the other end of the former route 65 was redesignated route 59 and
ran double end cars between Homeville and 18th St., Homestead.  fws
