This was a museum car. It was purchased from West Penn and trucked to
Charleroi from Connellsville. As the closing date for the Charleroi
division neared, the car was run to Ingram for further storage. Naturally
it was a great excuse for a fan trip.

Subject: [PRCo] PRCo PCC and West Penn car

Hello all,

Check out the following photograph.
Anyone know how the West Penn car ended up on PRC trackage? The date of
the photograph is May 10. 1953.

I have, for the moment, forgotten the Charleroi lines closure date.
(Note that the PCC has "Shannon-Charleroi" in the destination window.)
And I have also forgotten the date that West Penn 832 was moved to
Arden, and under its own power, yes?
