[PRCo] Political debate rages on

Neither am I. I had 36 years of government service.

I suspect that, in spite of how we preach our love for our fellow man, few
congressman (-woman) will willingly put money into a black school district for
fear of loosing the vote of their white constituents. Until there are more
blacks than whites, and until there are more Spanish than whites, and until we
quit gerrymandering voting districts, this problem will continue. Woodrow
Wilson isn't dead yet.

That is one side of the issue. The other is that I simply can not accept the
idea that every education problem can be corrected by throwing money at it. I do
not agree with the teachers who claim we need to keep class size down to 20. (I
don't think I ever had a public school class with fewer than 35 kids in it and 40
was the norm when I was in elementary school.) We don't need small classes, we
need a return to parents who keep their kids in order instead of blaming teachers
for their own omissions.

What the hell does this have to do with Pittsburgh Railways
