route 6 doesn't go to allentown. route 9 did, but they resigned it 476; if
you mean a connection at carlisle, don't hold your breath, but the exit
signs there did list 81 when i went past on thursday.

I do mean to get there. I'm curious what the old tunnel looks like. The
tunnel to South Hills Junction was renovated before I remember, Twin Peaks
tunnel isn't like it was, I figure this is probably "the way it was".
