Years ago heard the turnpike commission described as the "playground of the
Senate Republicans". But that's just hearsay.

Happiness this morning was to have a SUV fly up the turnpike behind me near
the Lebanon exit, as I was passing a truck at 65 mph. Slowed the SUV up for
awhile, then he took off again after I pulled around the semi - but only
for a couple miles. What a joy it was to watch a state trooper pulling him
over. Also thankful that my car has speed control so that I don't become
the state trooper's quarry.
