I used to drive passed there and wondered why the original Braddock 
veered off so far from where it eventually connected up again with the 
rest of Braddock Ave.   I mean, if the newer concrete Braddock didn't 
exist, what was there before?   And the old Braddock seemed to be 
travelling back towards Pittsburgh.    So, one travelled down the 
original Braddock and then made a sharp swerve left back up to meet with 
the rest of Braddock?  
I know the streetcars then would have had to travel up off Braddock onto 
the street (name it, someone) that carried the cars into Swissvale.
