New bridge built in 1958. The tracks were deliberately placed in an asphalt
slot so that they could be easily removed upon abandonment. This would be
something interesting to research. Apparently JTC came out the winner in
forcing the borough or the state to pay for tracks that they knew full well
would be abandoned almost as fast as they were to be installed. The cars ran
for no more than 18 months. Maybe Herr Schwindler would like to research the
PUC files?????
