My grandmother lived a few blocks away, and I remember it as a roller
rink during the '50s. It is indeed now part of a shopping center.

The 1950 sale date is at least credible if not documented, as the
company was offloading a lot of surplus property as part of its efforts
to get out of Chapter 77-B.

It was gone before I could remember (proabbly before I was born), but
that is true to the extent of my knowledge.
