First of all, I apologize to everybody for sending my "private reply" to you via
the list, Fred. :-)

Secondly, I would take I-15 from San Diego to Las Vegas, then leave town via U.S.
95 across Hoover Dam to perhaps I-40, then southeast into Texas. I will look up
the recommended route from here to Dallas.

Night pictures? Yeah, right. You just want Tracie and me to take you to dinner at
Garduno's again! ;-)

To get back on topic, I may take a cruise on the S.S. Jeremiah O' Brien from
Stockton to San Francisco next month. Perhaps I'll look up Jim Holland, who is
well known for his love of Western Pennsylvania traction.
