Greetings

The bench seat on only one side left many regular cross seats.

People had plenty of forward facing seats in the Pgh style.
The bench seat was easier for the elderly, fat people, people
with children and people with shopping bags or suitcases.

I agree that the use of bench seats on BOTH sides for the ADA
distorts the equation.
