Allows for more movement within the car and allows people to move to
the rear more easily. Also allows for good flow from front to
Center door where operations are Front Enter, Center Exit.
Many of our new ({[buses]}) have mostly sideways seating between
doors both sides of coach --- but this is for wheelchair
accommodations. Overwhelmingly negative response from riders
--- but they understand the need.
I do not like sitting sideways, either.
Toes Literally stepped on!
Single seats facing forward both sides between doors allow for
comfortable seating and good traffic flow, but greatly reduces seating
capacity.
