There is a connection -- back around the 37-Loop.

Fred posed a *What--If* situation where Overbrook was shut
down for some reason. This means that ALL equipment would
be using the Dinky Track on 38A Inbound and Outbound. So
Inbound Interurbans could take the crossover southwest of the
Admin Bldg and proceed to the wye using the same track as the
38A when it looped.
Although there *was* a siding on this track, it hadn't been
used in many decades and may not even have been operable in
1974. So to prevent cornfield meets, all cars would head
into the 38A loop the normal way; interurban cars would back
around the 37-line loop to head OB to their destinations.
Very Simple.
