Jim:

I remember two elderly Kansans on the bus from Keflevik airport to
Rejyavik, Iceland, that were so obnoxious that, when I found out they
would be on the free bus tour of the capital the next day, I spent $200
plus on a rental car just to avoid them.  All the way in from the airport
they asked questions of the native next to them, and then responded to
his answers in a most insulting manner.  One of their observations
was,"Oh!  You have cars up here."  Believe me, the Ugly American is still
alive and touring the world.  And they had no idea.
