	Here is another update on Tom Phillips.    Twas talking to him
last night when they came in to move him to the hospital.    Tom
sounds quite relaxed and in very good spirits.

Dad has been temporarily moved to the Anne Arundel General
Hospital in Annapolis.  He was moved there last night.  I don't
know how long he'll be there.  But he's in rm. 305 and the phone
number is 443-481-1000, ext. 4305.  His blood pressure was
dropping and he's not getting rid of enough fluid - his legs are
really swollen.

He'll go back to the Crofton Convalescent Center after his blood
pressure and fluid output stabilize.  He's in room 106B there,
and that phone number is 410-721-1000.  The operator will
transfer you to his room.

Thanks for calling him!  I think he's been pleasantly surprised
at how many people have reached out...

Hi!

This is Cappy, Tom's daughter.  He asked me to send out this
email on his behalf.

On Monday, Dad went in for an angioplasty (balloon to open up
veins/arteries in the heart.)  He ended up having emergency
bypass surgery instead.  He had two bypasses.

He's doing great!  Ornery as ever!  grin   Saw him last night
(Tuesday) and talked to him a couple of times today.  He's in the
Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC, rm 4NW-10.  His room
phone number is 202-877-4970.    Give him a call!  I'm sure he'd
get a kick out of it!

He's due to be home on Friday or Saturday.  I'm not sure if he's
coming here, to his house, or will go to Jackie's house.  She's
going to be his caretaker, us kids will run errands (and do
computer junk for him! grin)

So that's about it for now...  He can fill you in on the gory
details, and show you his scar, later!
