BART has an early and late airport problem also.

When Bart originally started, to save money they opened later on
Sundays                        .  This still goes on..

They copied Muni which delayed Sunday PCC service to 9AM
The difference was that Muni ran the all night bus later

Bart does nothing

Now that they go to the Airport, This is a real problem.

There is also a problem at midnight-2AM

It is not unusual for some systems to start later on Sunday
but usually no airports are involved.

For Bart to start early, it involves opening and staffing stations.

The Baltimore subway did not run on Sundays until last year,
The LRT could operate earlier without station expense

Chicago and NYC run all night
