Greetings

Steve Maguire was editor of the electric lines section of Railroad
magazine for many years. He was a Judge in Belmar, NJ.
He took many photos and made the black & white photos available
at low cost.. I purchased them as a student. He and Barney Neuburger
in Chicago made their photos available for every one. (Barney worked
for Greyhound at their Chicago garage)

I learned about the ERA and fan trips from Railroad magazine.

One of his articles resulted in my traveling to Bluefield, WVa in the
mid 1940's to ride the TriCity Traction interurban..

In the l970's I found Steve being motorman once a month on the
Trolleyville Ohio museum in full uniform!

He wasa good friend. Probably one of the 10 most inportant
railfans in the history of out hobby.
