Have not access to ridership but my impression is that the subway
does well with commuters but the downtown free zone is a bust
because downtown is a bust

Tony Schill ex Pgh and CTA was LRT manager for years.
He works for PBQD in Phoenix now.
They ran the line as a rapid transit highplatform line.
