77 was an East End line; probably out of Craft.  54 was a South Side line, 
probably out of Carrick.  Don't know when they were combined, which would be 
an interesting question.  (any route cards available, Ed??).

In early 1960s, weight restriction put on Brady Street bridge, and route 
truncated.  Continued rail from northside through Bloomfield to terminal in 
vicinity of Forbes and Jumonville.  It keep the 77/54 headsign.  Was a 
shuttle bus put on across Brady Street bridge?  I think so for connection 
with rt. 53 at Carson and S. 18th St.  But this is a real stretch of memory.
