I will have to do some research here, and will be at the office only briefly
today.

IRS taxes income, not assets, so that would be moot.

Not sure...am supposed to do a convention in Salt Lake in April but don't
know if we'll drive or fly to LA afterwards. If we drive, the road goes
right thru Vegas. But the last quote from Delta said that it would only be
$53 or so more to fly, and I can't rent a car for that.

I was just going through some of Roberta Hill's pictures of PRCo cars that
were
initially rejected by PAT and scrapped several years later. All sorts of
stuff.......M-455, M-459, M-11 and other miscellaneous PCCs, etc.

How many high floors wound up in the "M" series? Were there any other low
floor
"M" series cars besides the line painter (M-134?)

Did PAT charge Pittsburgh Railways for scrapping the rejected cars after the
settlement, or did a private concern handle that task? Was the real estate
and
rolling stock PRCo retained from 1964 until 1967 considered taxable assets
by
the IRS, or was its status in question for the duration?

Finally, when are you returning to Las Vegas to have dinner with us?

K.
