[PRCo] Rather Interesting

Not Pittsburgh related, but an interesting coincidence. I have been
reseaching Nike missile sites on the internet and came across this little
tidbit concerning Boston:
... there were discrepencies in the ARADCOM site numbering system; my guess
is it was a function of the site planning, survey and acquisition
process......

Another example can be found in the Boston Defense Area; B-85 Bedford is
west of B-84 Burlington.

Makes one wonder if the person designating the sites broke sequence because
of something he saw on streetcar rollsigns while growing up in Pittsburgh?
