I see PAT had the same hotchpot of truck parts as we have here in Ostrava.
Some T3s built in late '90s have truck's side frames and gear cases (axle
housings) salvaged from scrapped 1961 vintage T2s. And there are many truck
parts salvaged from 1955, 1956 and 1957 vintage T1s. We have been using both
single reduction hypoid and double reduction gears - you can easily imagine
the mix up we have here, because some parts, even not identical, are
interchangeable. As for the traction motors, which are exclusively of
Westinghouse type, the situation is the same.
"My" historic T2 is a typical demonstration of that above, but I have
hoarded up a lot of spare parts and once time or continuously I can replace
some of them.
