Be happy to be included in western wrath.  That puts you in the same
category as us easterners.  Remember how close Alberta and BC are to Montana
and Idaho, whose good citizens also number perhaps the largest percentage
(fortunately still in single digits) of weird Americans.

It has nothing to do with my attitude towards Americans, gained as a child
in the late 1940s-early 1950s when we visited all sorts of places from
Boston to Dallas (including Pittsburgh and you know how I feel about that
place from the hundreds of photos and slides), but my wife was and is an
American (dual citizenship) and the majority of her relatives, all in the
US, are some of the finest people I know.

Enough sucking up.   This thread should probably die before Derrick commits
murder.
