We have enough trouble teaching 60-year old men and women the difference between
straight air valves and self-lapping valves. I can only imagine the horror of
trying to teach one how to blend manually controlled dynamic and track brakes
with hand brakes! If it were to be restored, I can imagine only a handful of
people being able to run it. And those front steps are really ADA compliant.
And perhaps more than any one else there today, I would like to see it restored
and operate it. But then I have gone to National Capital and Crich just for the
fun of running cars with those braking systems.
