Slovaks say "do videnia". In fact the exact translation means "until seeing
(again)". In Czech language we say "na shledanou" which means that you
expect to see the person again. It would be "I am looking forward to meet
with you", but we don't say the first part - "I am looking forward", only
"to meet with you". And also in radio it works in Czech and Slovak language
the same way as in German - we wish to hear (again). Too difficult to
explain in foreign language. Every language has something you can't
translate.
And too difficult to write just now, because my right hand is and will be
"out of order" for several weeks"
