For "Route 80" to make sense you need to remember that PA route 380 was PA
route 80 before it was renumbered to deconfuse people about I-80.
Of course then I-80N into Scranton was renumbered I-380, and PA 380 became
SR400 anyway.
PA380 starts downtown and runs via Penn Hills, Plum and on out almost to
Saltsburg. Continuing on PA286 brings you to Indiana. No carlines to most
of the area outside the city where it runs... except the old Oakmont line
which crossed it where Robinson Blvd/Verona Road now crosses it.
Who was Snodder anyway?
