Greetings

Speaking about meat packing plants. were they on Herr's island?

In Manhattan, there was a large packing plant with live cattle on
42dt sreet at 11th Ave.. This became the siite of a Greyhound Garage
and is now the site of a large NYCT bus depot.

Going to the 42d street ferry or the dayline boat was a smelly experience.
