Some, maybe most, of you will probably know the location of this shot on 
the Library line.

Apparently, it was taken when work was being done on the trestle in this 
shot.   What I find interesting and unusual, is that there was actually 
land around that area for the cars to be detoured!  

Similar, but not quite as incredible as when the railways built a 
temporary trestle along Penn Avenue in the Strip District when the 1936  
flood occurred.   I think that was featured in one of the Trolley 
Museum's recent Trolley Fare newsletters.

Anyway, the more I read, and from the little I already knew, the 
Railways Company sure did strive to give their customers uninterrupted 
service when construction and accidents happened.
