The manufacturer, at least in the paperwork which came with the one that I own, indicates that it is a model of a Los Angeles Railway PCC car.

> Item Description:
> Powered HO brass model of a Pittsburgh 1936 vintage PCC car, as later modified. The model is factory painted in Pittsburgh's classic red and cream with narrow black stripes scheme. The model is equipped with an incorrect slider type trolley pole (Pittsburgh used wheeled poles): that's the way MTS sold it to me. The car is numbered 1059 and has a route 18 Woods Run headsign. I have not run this model. It is brand new and in its original box.
