Some of the 1000 series had short anti-climbers, some long - This one
was taken in 1946 - http://www.davesrailpix.com/pitts/jpg/jfp055.jpg -
short, and this one in 1957 is long -

The longer ones were probably added by PRCo.

Changing from a shoe to a wheel is a simple matter on an HO car; you
don't need a cutting torch like O scale models, just solder. It really
needs a new pole that fits down in the cowling. This model is missing
the sand box filler but no one will notice.

Seller mentions that the trolley pole has a shoe, not a wheel. I see
another error in the anticlimber on the front. Didn't the 1000 and 1100
series PCCs have a shorter anticlimber? Also, what is a "blinker door"?

Item Description:
Powered HO brass model of a Pittsburgh 1936 vintage PCC car, as
later modified.  The model is factory painted in Pittsburgh's
classic red and cream with narrow black stripes scheme.   The
model is equipped with an incorrect slider type trolley pole (Pittsburgh
used wheeled poles): that's the way MTS sold it to me.  The car is
numbered 1059 and has a route 18 Woods Run headsign.  I have not
run this model.  It is brand new and in its original box.
