The vehicle number would not appear on the supervisors "headway" sheets (a schedule for route supervisors noting running times, timing points, and block numbers) inasmuch as the vehicle number would be different every day. Some transit operations do utilize the "Bus To Block" (Capital Metro in Austin, TX for one) system where the same vehicle does operate on the same block every day. However PRCo/PAT did not use that system. Vehicle numbers could be obtained from the station where the car/bus is assigned or with todays up to date transit monitoring computer systems, such as Transitmaster, as used in Cleveland, just by bringing that particlar screen up on the supervisors MDT (Mobil Data Terminal or computer screen) or by a call to a Central Traffic Control Office.
