I found this very interesting article written by list member Ed Lybarger for Pittsburgh Engineer.  I had never heard of transter privileges being withdrawn on holidays to increase revenue.

  We may fondly remember the rides and cars of our youth, I'm sure the adults of the trolley era had issues with the operating practices of the trolley companies on a day to day basis.
