See link to a photo of M1276 that I took at the lower end of the yard at SHJ
on April 4, 1965. This view shows M1276 with the center doors and large
windows that Jim described.
Note that the 4/4/65 photo shows the car with a PAT white sign on the side -
the sign is not seen on Bill's "nycsubway" photo post, so the wood covering
may have pre-dated the doors/windows installation.
I'll look for other photos I took of M1276 to see if plow details are
visible.
