The above photo actually shows a tarp hanging in the center door 
opening.       I am wondering if the plates // plywood were  *-doors-*  
in the sense that they could be opened if need be.       I do have an 
old photo which I took myself after the car made its debut so I am not 
looking for these general comments but specifics as to the actual 
construction.
