In Squirrel Hill, we don't need no stinkin' mall to keep ridership up!
This reminds me: I need to look for the new schedules. From what I
remember when the cuts were announced, this round isn't too bad for me;
the June cuts will be nastier. PAT deserves some credit for scrapping the
idiotic plan that would have cut all evening and Sunday service, though.
Maybe I shouldn't care: I won't be here much longer. But it's sad.
I remember when 24 hour service began and my officemate, who grew up
in Stockholm, told me "perhaps Pittsburgh is becoming a real city".
