Hi John and Ray!

Yes, the PTM map shows that the Car House (Thirtieth Street) was on
the north side of the street. The 52 line was single track to 36th
with a possible double track stub there, according to the PTM map, and
this stub may have been a siding on the line which continued -- at one
time -- to the 55//56 junction at the Glenwood bridge. The PTM
map shows the single track from the outbound track of the 50-line loop.

That's a 1500-series car in the photo and the photo says it is
1949--1955 so *Just--Maybe* it is part of a wye track using trackage
from the old car house -- but would expect the PTM map to reflect
this. Overhead alignment in the photo *suggests* a wye as well.
PTM map also shows defunct Sarah street horse car line as well as
some trackage on Jane street.

The Rohrbeck plan shows a stub track inside the Car House which would
turn east onto Carson *possibly* from that large door to the left of
the 15xx in the photo. From the location where the 15xx is sitting
there was one track turning east and one track turning west with a
transfer table behind for access to 6-storage tracks.

The wall beside 15xx appears as if part of the building had been razed
above where 15xx is sitting ---- O--R ---- that is
*Traction__Alley* as indicated on Rohrbeck's map but if such is the
case, Rohrbeck does not show track on this street -- but such track
could have been added later as Rohrbeck indicates these plans are
1900--1909. And if this is Traction Alley then the access tracks
to the building as mentioned above need to be moved further to our left
as we view this photo and it does not appear as though 2-tracks could
come out of one of those doors.

Let's take a time travel and check it out -- can't discern destination
sign on the 15.
