The temporary ramp from the Manchester Bridge down to Fort Duquesne Way was there
forever.  I remember it vividly about 1947 or 1948 ... I had to sit in the car
waiting for dad who had business somewhere in the neighborhood.  Mom was with me but
I think she was of less importance at the time than the trolleys going up and down
the wooden ramp.
