I find it bewildering in light of all the efforts the Baltimore
Streetcar Museum went through over the last decade to find a better
location. BSM wanted out of the city for the usual litany of
reasons, declining revenue, no one wants to come to visit city sites,
and so forth. Then they identified other sites within the city that
were deemed suitable. Now they are staying where they are. I think
I saw all of eight or nine people this Saturday when I worked at BSM,
and of those I don't think any were revenue passengers. They were
all members of BSM or Railways to Yesterday and their children. Two
weeks earlier I think we lifted eight fares on Saturday.

On the other hand, the lake shore in Cleveland is redeveloped land.
The Jones Falls in Baltimore is in the middle of a rather dismal area
that continues to go down hill every year.

I would be happy to hear Herb Brannon's opinions on this move.
